I've transformed natural pine cones into a stunning hybrid piece using vibrant blue and yellow epoxy resin, swirled with shimmering mica powder for a truly captivating effect. To achieve this distinct, layered look, the resin was carefully poured in stages, with a 5-hour curing period between each pour to prevent the colors from blending. The result is a mesmerizing display of color and texture. Finally, multiple layers of clear gloss lacquer were applied, creating a high-shine finish that enhances the beauty of the resin and the natural details of the pine cones.
